Aschheim Drive-In Cinema

Distance: 3 km - about 5 minutes drive

The Munich-Aschheim drive-in cinema features one screen that is 15-metres high and 36 metres wide. With an area of 240 square metres, Screen 1 offers great film entertainment. There is space for up to 600 cars.

Even the second screen is 24 metres wide and 10 metres high, i.e. 240 square metres. Here these is space for up to 250 cars.

Poing Wildlife Park

Distance: 12 km - about a 20-minute drive

Over 200 deer and more than 50 mouflons live in the woodland enclosure. You will also come across herds of wild pigs and roe deer, hares, squirrels and goats: together with pheasants flying away. Swans, Canada geese and wild ducks glide across the water. Everything takes place as if there was no one there. No animals are disturbed or unsettled. You get really interesting insights into the animal world. The Wildlife Park is open all year.

Wildlife Park Highlights:

  • 2x daily bird of prey display (except Fridays and public holidays; also Fridays during school holidays)
  • Large adventure and water playground for children of all ages; picnic lawn with kiosk alongside
  • Large outdoor enclosure with fallow deer and mouflons. These animals can be fed - animal feed is available at the ticket office and from vending machines in the Park for 50 cents
  • Brown bears, lynxes, wolves and various other animals such as ponies, guinea pigs, goats, birds, ...

Hellabrunn Zoo

Distance 20 km - about 25 minutes' drive

Munich Zoo at Hellabrunn was established in 1911 as the first geo-zoo in the world. Here the animals live in spacious natural enclosures appropriate to their geographical origin. Visitors can embark on a world tour through various continents. Today, it is one of the largest zoological centres in Germany and, above all, a unique natural paradise in a conservation area on the Isar flood plain.

The animals live in spacious habitats, surrounded by streams and water. Thanks to the network of water and spectacular surroundings, visitors can enjoy close-up and natural views of the animals in habitats that you would otherwise find only in nature. Go on an expedition through the geo-zoo of the future and experience over 17,000 animals from over 700 species, close up and with all your senses, at Hellabrunn!

Aschheim High Ropes Camp

Distance: 2 km - about 5minutes' drive
