Our "Wirtschaft" is the place to meet. Trade fair visitors, technicians, Munich tourists and locals sit together on large wooden tables: in winter, next to the tiled stove in our cosy 'Stub’n'; in summer also in the beer garden of course. This gives our hostelry a special flair.

... we value our regulars and tables reserved for local groups, and are delighted each time our guests help to create a warm, cosy atmosphere.

We are a "musician-friendly pub restaurant" and see ourselves as a meeting place and place for communication. Singers and musicians play without a stage or fee - simply for refreshments, and for their own enjoyment and to entertain guests. They normally sit among the guests, so that the polarised distinction between 'artists here' and 'audience there' is avoided: the demarcation is fluid and guests may sing or play a long.

Pub music is not a new invention but, in many places, folk singing and music making have disappeared from bars and are no longer a matter of course.

That is why we are delighted when musicians sing and play in the Wirtshaus - including when they do so spontaneously!
